Wedding Dress Hire
Not every bride wants to own her dress — and she doesn't have to. Hiring means the same gown, the same fittings and the same unhurried hour in the boutique, without keeping it afterwards.
Two ways to hire
- Hire — choose a gown from the boutique, fitted and finished for your day, and returned to us afterwards
- Make to hire — a gown made to your own design and measurements, which you hire rather than own
If you have something particular in mind and hiring suits you better than buying, say so at your fitting and we'll show you what's possible.
What it costs
Hire fees depend entirely on the gown — the fabric, the detail, and whether it's being made for you. That's why you won't find a price list here: quoting one figure would be wrong for most of the range.
Come in and we'll talk you through the fees for the gowns you actually like, with no obligation. You can also ask us beforehand if you'd rather have a sense of it first.
How it works
- Book a fitting — R300 for a full hour, with up to four guests and something bubbly in hand
- Try as many as you like — there's no limit, and no rush
- Talk fees — once you know which gowns you love, we'll go through what each one costs to hire
- Fitted and finished — your gown is altered to you before you take it
- Wear it, then return it — bring it back to us after the wedding

Why we don't hire online
Our gowns aren't sold or hired online, because no two brides are the same shape and no dress leaves us until it fits properly. Come and see them in person, or have a look at our brides wearing theirs.
