What we collect. When you shop with us online we collect the personal information needed to serve you: your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, order details (including sizes, measurements and personalisation text you give us), and your communications with us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider (Yoco) and are never stored by us.

Why we collect it. To process and deliver your order; to make custom items to your specification; to contact you about your order; to respond to your enquiries; to meet our legal and tax obligations; and, with your consent, to send you news and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

Who we share it with. Our online store runs on Shopify, which stores order and customer data on our behalf. We share what is necessary with our payment provider (Yoco), our courier partners (to deliver your order), and our accountants where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa; they are bound by contracts and privacy laws that protect your information.

How long we keep it. Order records are kept for at least five years to meet South African tax and consumer-protection requirements. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

Cookies. Our store uses cookies to keep your basket, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights. You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to direct marketing at any time. Email hello@lovelace.co.za. Security. We use Shopify's secure, encrypted platform and limit access to personal information to staff who need it.
