Our story
Love Lace began in 2013, in a small room in our founder's home.
She started it because she loves working with people, and because finding your wedding dress should be something you enjoy, not something you get through.
There were growing pains, and a lot of learning. Choosing designers was daunting at first, with so many styles on offer. Over the years we built lasting relationships with designers and with the suppliers of our materials. That is how we keep our range up to date and our quality where it should be.
In 2020 we moved into our boutique at 184 Main Road in Walmer. Brides now come to us from across the Eastern Cape and from other provinces. You can buy your gown, hire it, or have one made to your design and hire it.
Some things haven't changed since that first room. Every bride still gets our full attention: an hour in the boutique, up to four of her people with her, and as many dresses as she'd like to try.
